7 Lies in Under 2 Minutes: CHURCH & STATE? In a discussion with a friend on a somewhat related matter, this was my reply:
At church services last night (Christmas Eve), I took particular notice of something that I have noticed before, but now with more of a sense of profoundness.
As I sat, listening to the music as others filed into Church, I was looking at the beauty of the church... the large expanse of the post & beam construction for the roof... the solid hand-rubbed oak architecture, and the marvelous and huge stained glass window of Christ above the alter. The ornately decorated alter area with red & white poinsettias, and two large Christmas trees on each side of the alter in the back corners, brightly lit with white lights, and decorated with Christian themed, white ornaments.
What I took particular notice of though was the church's flag on the right as I faced the alter... and the Flag of the United States of America on the left. You may ask, "What is so notable about that?" I was thinking of this country, and how it was founded on the precepts of Christianity ... and how we used to say, in PUBLIC SCHOOLS, the "Our Father," and then recite the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, with hand over heart. It struck me then as being so profound that, while our churches most all display the United States of America's Flag, it is now all but a criminal offense to display any symbol of Christianity on government property. While a church will still (and hopefully forever) proudly wave Old Glory, our government... our courts and our elected "representatives," have all turned their backs on -- GOD.
"How is that," I thought to myself? God's children hold America in high esteem, yet America's servants hold God in no esteem. "How is that?"
How long might it be, before the ONLY place we are allowed to wonder about the Glory of God, is inside the sanctuary of a Church? How long before we are imprisoned for displaying any Christian symbols at our homes, or our own businesses? If and when that ever happens, will it be before, or after, an attempt to outlaw and confiscate all firearms?
I was no mere accident that the Forefathers insisted on a Bill of Rights to guarantee essential freedoms from any (future) changes to the US Constitution. Speech & Religion trump the Right to Keep & Bear Arms - and those two are THE most important of all for they give, or SHOULD give ALL Americans the faith & ability to express their desire for freedom, AND the means to KEEP IT. I thought about how Congress can make amendments to the Constitution, but not to the Bill of Rights as long as Americans INSIST on remaining FREE.
So, why have we allowed liberal courts, academia, politicians and ANTI-Americans to undermine the FIRST Amendment and Freedom of Religion? No where does ANY part of the Constitution suggest in the slightest, that we should not have Religion in government, nor bar it FROM government... and that's Christian religion as evidenced by many separate writing of actual Founding Fathers' views on that very subject, as well as the right to keep and bear arms. To the supposed "Reverends" like Wright, Jackson and Sharpton, et al; to the 9th Circuit Appeals Court and other left-leaning judges and Justices; to all the Hollywood liberal reprobates; to the liberal gay "rights," and pro-abortion minded complicit in so many murders; to Congress and Senators too blinded by pure GREED; and to the tax mongering Obama and your 30-plus unconstitutional Czars, among whom are proponents of teaching our youth that gay is "normal" including all of the perverse, EXTREMELY unnatural acts beyond mere sodomy, and also those who avow strong anti-American sentiments this essay is for YOU. This essay though is ESPECIALLY to the muslims who hide behind a mantle of religion that is nothing less than an excuse for domination of the world through intimidation, rape, murder and mayhem. To you all and to the pig fearing scum especially, I warn you ALL that Americans will stand up to each and every one of you ... polititians, social misfits, Marxists and Communists, and worst of all, muslims - we will defeat you ALL. To you all, I say .... GOD BLESS AMERICA. Obama! No wait! Satan! No... Obama! No, Satan! Uhmmm, I do believe that THIS is what that Mohammed guy looks like! (No - I NEVER capitalize that word, "muslim" because they are my ENEMY and don't deserve even that much respect!) When the President and the Army Chief of Staff refer to a TERRORIST as a "soldier under stress," then they are in serious denial. (Gen. Casey - what a WIMP - a LIMP-WRISTED moron whose brain must've been scooped from the bowels of an outhouse, and who wouldn't make a pimple on a good Sergeants buttocks! As with all generals in todays Army, Casey is just another lapdog, political creature.)
Our politically correct (such idiocy!) morons in office and in high positions, are so inept, they can't (or won't) recognize that we are at WAR! This guy in Ft. Hood, yelled that raghead war cry, "Allah Akbar!" But, he's not a terrorist ... he's just "under stress," because of his pending deployment to a war zone! Hey! He is a NON-combatant, and would be treating the emotionally injured ... he would NOT be bearing arms!
What if, during WW2, a German-American would have gone onto an Army base, and shot up a bunch of soldiers shouting, "Heil Hitler!" I'll betcha he'd be called a Nazi!
What if an Irish American shot up a Protestant church, yelling, "Long live the IRA!" I'll betcha we'd be calling him an IRA terrorist!

WHAT BOTHERS ME ABOUT AMERICA:America, while still THE best country on earth, has some serious problems. Probably the most urgent involves, not global warming (an Al Gore farce); not racism (despite what blackmailers like Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton spout) and not the economy (despite what Dems will tell you). THE most urgent issue in America is its corrupt, self-serving politicians.American politicians, sadly, have only one interest in mind when they serve - their own! I was listening to the news today and actually heard "another" Republican say it! Actually, what he said was that the war has become a hazard to his future as a Republican politician. He did NOT say that the war is a hazard to AMERICA .... but only that it was a hazard to HIS future as a politician. So what does that say about him... or our Congress and Senate in general?It says that they are, among other adjectives - cowards; frauds and above all, seditious. In fact, many are downright traitors to America. Just imagine where we would be today, had our Congress and Senate (publically) challenged President Roosevelt during WW2! Would we be speaking German East of the Mississippi, and Japanese West of it? Perhaps, but surely we would not be the democratic Republic that we are today! Most Democrats in office, both on a national and state level, are guilty of actual TREASON, while the rest are guilty of ignoring their own Oath of Office. Now, many Republicans, though for different self-serving reasons, are also undermining the Commander-in-Chief. I'm sorry, but when a person - ANY person - undermines the Commander-in-Chief, or even a Company Commander or a Squad Leader in combat - when they undermine that person in a position of great responsibility and Constitutional Authority, then they are GUILTY of TREASON. One could go on and on... but suffice it to say that American politicians, on all levels of government, are increasingly turning their backs on our Troops by undermining those troops' Commander-in-Chief. In the past, these same scum politicians have attempted to stop or thwart the Absentee Ballots of American Service men and women. Now, by demanding a pullout of troops and withdrawal by any specific date, OR timetable of ANY kind, they empower Al Qaeda who now will only have to wait America out.... just as the North Vietnamese did to us in Paris; again, thanks to self-serving politicians. Entire generations of black families, robbed of the incentive to live the real American dream of individualism and freedom. Obama will extend welfare - taxing the rich of whom the top 3% (that's three percent) pay SEVENTY PERCENT of all taxes. He wants them and the upper middle class AND middle class to pay more and MORE AND MORE taxes. More welfare monies - like his proposed $1,000 "tax rebate" to those who already pay NO taxes. How do you rebate something that isn't paid?

An attorney for convicted fundraiser Tony Rezko is listed as the owner and taxpayer for Barack Obama's Chicago mansion, according to records obtained by WND. William Miceli is a lawyer at the Chicago law firm Miner, Barnhill & Galland, which also formerly employed Obama. The controversy began when a website called News and Commentary for Thinking People published a 48-page document that lists Miceli as the owner of the Obama home at 5046 S. Greenwood. Miner, Barnhill & Galland was Obama's employer when he did extensive legal work for Rezko, who awaits sentencing after he was convicted in June of fraud, money laundering and bribery-related counts. Miceli, as a senior attorney at the firm, supervised Obama when the future president wrote letters on behalf of Rezko urging public authorities to award him new public properties to rehabilitate, notes the "Barack Book" website maintained by GOP.com. WND asked for comment from Obama's transition team and the Democratic National Committee but did not receive a response. Investigative reporter Tim Novak at the Chicago Sun-Times has identified 15 building projects that Rezmar, Rezko's development company, redeveloped while it was represented by Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland during Obama's time at the firm. The law firm changed its name when senior partner Allison Davis left to join Rezko in his schemes to take out loans on low-income housing projects. Several of the transactions remain under investigation, because the millions of dollars Rezko borrowed against the properties to make redevelopments are gone, while many of the properties remain boarded up and uninhabitable. Following the Jan. 21 Democratic Party primary debate, Miceli told the Washington Post that he was Obama's supervisor at the law firm, in response to Sen. Hillary Clinton's charges Obama had worked for a Chicago slumlord, Rezko. The Post said "Obama denied doing any legal work directly for Rezko or his companies," contending Obama had done only "about five hours worth of work" on a joint real estate development project involving Rezko and a Chicago church group. Miceli told the Post Obama "was a very junior lawyer at the time, who was given responsibility for basic due diligence, document review." Miceli said Obama "did what he was told by the firm," minimizing the importance of any work Obama admittedly did for the Rezko account. WND confirmed the tax bill for the Obama home is mailed to Miceli, not to Obama or the Northern Trust account through which Obama has claimed the home was purchased. Records from the Cook County Treasurer's Office give the PIN number for the Obama property as 20-11-115-037-0000 and list Miceli as the person who receives Obama's property tax invoice by mail. Eric Herman, a spokesman for the Cook County assessor, confirmed to WND that the Treasurer's Office records were correct and that Miceli did receive the Obama property tax invoice by mail. Miceli did not return a call WND placed to him at Miner, Barnhill & Galland. Herman told WND a second PIN number, 20-11-115-036-0000, identified the vacant lot next to the Obama mansion that was purchased by Rita Rezko, Tony Rezko's wife. Here, WND found conflicts between the tax records maintained by the Cook County Treasurer's Office and the deed information maintained by the Cook County Recorder of Deeds. Rosslyn Whitlock, an Internet support specialist at the Cook County Recorder of Deeds, confirmed to WND that the office has no information listed for the Obama home under the PIN number 20-11-115-037-0000, the number used by the Cook County Assessor's office for property tax purposes. Records at the Cook County Recorder of Deeds list Rita Rezko as the holder of the warranty deed for the vacant lot at 5050 S. Greenwood adjoining the Obama mansion, under the PIN number 20-11-115-036-0000. WND was able to locate warranty information at the Cook County Recorder of Deeds , which Herman at the County Assessor's office told WND was the "old PIN number" assigned to the Obama home at 5046 S. Greenwood Avenue, before the home was sold to Obama. Neither spokesman could explain to WND the discrepancy in PIN numbers, nor why the Cook County Recorder of Deeds has no information filed under the new PIN number assigned to the property after the Obama purchase. Records with the Cook County Recorder of Deeds under the PIN number 20-11-115-034-0000 indicate the mortgage is held by Northern Trust Company under trust number 10209, which Obama has indicated was the trust the Obama family used to purchase the home. Meanwhile, WND has reported that since arresting Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald has taken new interest in Rezko's involvement in the Obama mansion purchase. WND also reported real estate credit analyst Kenneth Conner has filed a civil suit alleging he was wrongfully dismissed by Mutual Bank of Harvey for objecting to what he considered a fraudulent appraisal of the vacant lot. The appraisal was submitted by the Rezkos at an intentionally high figure, he claims, permitting them to borrow an additional $125,000 that amounted to a "political payoff" to Obama.

I must confess I was not impressed by Sen. Barack Obama from the first time I saw him. At first I was excited to see a black candidate. He looked youthful, spoke well, appeared to be confident – a wholesome presidential package. I was put off soon, not just because of his shallowness but also because there was an air of haughtiness in his demeanor that was unsettling. His posture and his body language were louder than his empty words.
Obama's speeches are unlike any political speech we have heard in American history. Never a politician in this land had such a quasi 'religious' impact on so many people. The fact that Obama is a total incognito with zero accomplishment, makes this inexplicable infatuation alarming. Obama is not an ordinary man. He is not a genius. In fact he is quite ignorant on most important subjects. Barack Obama is a narcissist. Dr. Sam Vaknin, the author of the 'Malignant Self Love,' also believes, "Barack Obama appears to be a narcissist."
Vaknin is a world authority on narcissism. He understands narcissism and describes the inner mind of a narcissist like no other person. When he talks about narcissism everyone listens. Vaknin says that Obama's language, posture and demeanor, and the testimonies of his closest, dearest and nearest suggest that the Senator is either a narcissist or he may have narcissistic personality disorder (NPD).
Narcissists project a grandiose but false image of themselves. Jim Jones, the charismatic leader of People's Temple, the man who led over 900 of his followers to cheerfully commit mass suicide and even murder their own children was also a narcissist. David Koresh, Charles Manson, Joseph Koni, Shoko Asahara, Stalin, Saddam, Mao, Kim Jong Ill and Adolph Hitler are a few examples of narcissists of our time.
All these men had a tremendous influence over their fanciers. They created a personality cult around themselves and with their blazing speeches elevated their admirers' souls, filled their hearts with enthusiasm and instilled in their minds a new zest for life. They gave them hope! They promised them the moon, but alas, invariably they brought them to their doom. When you are a victim of a cult of personality, you don't know it until it is too late.
One determining factor in the development of NPD is childhood abuse. 'Obama's early life was decidedly chaotic and replete with traumatic and mentally bruising dislocations,' says Vaknin 'Mixed-race marriages were even less common then. His parents went through a divorce when he was an infant (two years old). Obama saw his father only once again, before he died in a car accident. Then, his mother re-married and Obama had to relocate to Indonesia: a foreign land with a radically foreign culture, to be raised by a step-father. At the age of ten, he was whisked off to live with his maternal (white) grandparents. He saw his mother only intermittently in the following few years and then she vanished from his life in 1979. She died of cancer in 1995.'
One must never underestimate the manipulative genius of pathological narcissists. They project such an imposing personality that it overwhelms those around them. Charmed by the charisma of the narcissist, people become like clay in his hands. They cheerfully do his bidding and delight to be at his service. The narcissist shapes the world around himself and reduces others in his own inverted image. He creates a cult of personality. His admirers become his co-dependents
Narcissists have no interest in things that do not help them to reach their personal objective. They are focused on one thing alone and that is power. All other issues are meaningless to them and they do not want to waste their precious time on trivialities. Anything that does not help them is beneath them and do not deserve their attention. If an issue raised in the Senate does not help Obama in one way or another, he has no interest in it. The 'present' vote is a safe vote. No one can criticize him if things go wrong. Why should he implicate himself in issues that may become controversial when they don't help him personally? Those issues are unworthy by their very nature because they are not about him.
Obama's election as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review led to a contract and advance to write a book about race relations. The University of Chicago Law School provided him with a fellowship and an office to work on his book. The book took him a lot longer than expected and at the end it devolved into…, guess what? His own autobiography! Instead of writing a scholarly paper focusing on race relations, for which, he had been paid, Obama could not resist writing about his most sublime self. He entitled the book 'Dreams From My Father.'
Not surprisingly, Adolph Hitler also wrote his own autobiography when he was still nobody. So did Stalin. For a narcissist no subject is as important as his own self. Why would he waste his precious time and genius writing about insignificant things when he can write about such an august being as himself?
Narcissists are often callous and even ruthless. As the norm, they lack conscience. This is evident from Obama's lack of interest in his own brother who lives on only one dollar per month. A man who lives in luxury, who takes a private jet to vacation in Hawaii, and who has raised nearly half a billion dollars for his campaign (something unprecedented in history) has no interest in the plight of his own brother. Why? Because, his brother cannot be used for his ascent to power. A narcissist cares for no one but himself.
This election is like no other in the history of America . The issues are insignificant compared to what is at stake. What can be more dangerous than having a man bereft of conscience, a serial liar, and one who cannot distinguish his fantasies from reality as the leader of the free world?
I hate to sound alarmist, but one must be a fool if one is not alarmed. Many politicians are narcissists. They pose no threat to others. They are simply self-serving and selfish. Obama evinces symptoms of pathological narcissism, which is different from the run-of-the-mill narcissism of a Richard Nixon or a Bill Clinton, for example. To him reality and fantasy are intertwined. This is a mental health issue, not just a character flaw. Pathological narcissists are dangerous because they look normal and even intelligent. It is this disguise that makes them treacherous.
Today the Democrats have placed all their hopes in Obama. But this man could put an end to their party. The great majority of blacks have also decided to vote for Obama. Only a fool does not know that their support for him is racially driven.
Let us call a spade a spade. This is racism, pure and simple. The truth is that while everyone carries a misconceived collective guilt towards the blacks for wrongs done centuries ago by a bygone people to a bygone people, the blacks carry a collective rancor, enmity or vendetta towards non-blacks and to this day want to 'stand up' to the white man.. They seem to be stuck in 19th century.
The downside of this is that if Obama turns out to be the disaster I predict, he will cause widespread resentment among the whites. The blacks are unlikely to give up their support of their man. Cultic mentality is pernicious and unrelenting. They will dig their heads deeper in the sand and blame Obama's detractors of racism. This will cause a backlash among the whites. The white supremacists will take advantage of the discontent and they will receive widespread support. I predict that in less than four years, racial tensions will increase to levels never seen since the turbulent 1960s. Obama will set the clock back decades… America is the bastion of freedom. The peace of the world depends on the strength of America, and its weakness translates into the triumph of terrorism and victory of rogue nations. It is no wonder that Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez, the Castrists, the Hezbollah, the Hamas, the lawyers of the Guantanamo terrorists and virtually all sworn enemies of America are so thrilled by the prospect of their man in the White House. 4 Nov 2008: America diagnosed as terminally ill. Okay, so call me paranoid ... but what is with this guy? While running for office, he uses as crest that closely resembles the Presidential Seal. As President-elect, he uses the actual seal with the logo, "Office of the President-Elect." Here's a clue: There is no, "Office of the President-Elect!" Never has been one... and there ain't one! (Yeah, I say the word "ain't!" So sue me!) Ever look at the faces of the crowds during his campaign? During his speeches? Today? Pure rapture! What's with that?!?! Does this guy have some mesmerizing abilities, or the same abilities that Hitler had? (Oh damn! There I go again! Blasphemy of the so-called "chosen one," or of the "messiah!" So, sue me!) Seriously ... how is it that grown women cry as this guy speaks? Yeah, I've seen men teary-eyed as he speaks too. Are Americans really that weak-minded that they now want to kiss the feet of another politician? (Yeah, "politician" is a dirty word, and my derisive comments concerning them are pure sarcasm! So, sue me!) Take this guy serious? With all his promises? Hey, even I'll admit he's a great speech-giver! I'll even admit that I'd like to believe him ... but Mom always told me, "If it sounds too good to be true ..." or, "If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck ..." duh! While I certainly like optimism, only when it's based in reality does it get my juices flowing. This Obama character, a politician, is way outside the bounds of reality with all his promises. He's good at speech-makin' that's for certain, and Americans are hungry for change. But WHAT needs changed? Does anyone really thing the politicians in Washington, D.C. want CHANGE? No, they don't ... they only wanted you to give them even MORE power. THINK ABOUT IT! How many promises have the political hacks - from BOTH parties - actually followed through with? Lower taxes? Nope! Less inasive government? Nope, and just WAIT until you see what they do to the 1st and 2nd Amendments! - 1st Amendment: Freedom of Speech is seriously threatened by the nice sounding "Fairness Doctrine." What's that? That's where the liberal Dems want to limit, or actually eliminate conservative talk-radio. Hey, even I don't like Rush Limbaugh. (Actually, I just don't like any guru ... not Rush, and certainly not Obama. So, sue me!) In any event, WHY do they want to eliminate conservative talk radio? Because it's the only media that challenges what these guys do! Of equal concern should be all the talk about "hate crimes." Why? Because the liberals want to include as a so-called crime, "hate speech." So, if you say the word, "nigger," or the word, "raghead," or any other derisive term, it's a hate crime. I'm not advocating that you SHOULD use those words or terms, only that it's not a CRIME if you do!!! Imagine, "You're hereby sentenced to one year in the county jail for language," an you now have a criminal record because you used a foul, ignorant word. Bye-bye, freedom of speech! Oh... another foul word, at least in my dictionary, is politician.
- 2nd Amendment: The right to keep and bear arms, will come under serious attack. How do I know? Look at Obama's record in Illinois! Look at his pick for U.S. Attorney General. In Illinois, Obama voted to make it a CRIME for a home-owner to protect his family and home. That is, someone breaks-in and you shoot him - he voted that it should be a CRIME ... even if the intruder himself is ARMED. His choice for AG? As Janet-the-dyke Reno's #2 underling, he openly derrides the 2nd Amendment, claiming that it ONLY applies to government militias! No debate here... but WHY are ALL of the Bill of Rights focused on INDIVIDUAL rights?
Amendments- First Amendment – Establishment Clause, Free Exercise Clause; freedom of speech, of the press, and of assembly; right to petition Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
- Second Amendment – Right to keep and bear arms. A well regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
- Third Amendment – Protection from quartering of troops. No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.
- Fourth Amendment – Protection from unreasonable search and seizure. The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
- Fifth Amendment – due process, double jeopardy, self-incrimination, eminent domain. No person shall be held to answer for any capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
- Sixth Amendment – Trial by jury and rights of the accused; Confrontation Clause, speedy trial, public trial, right to counsel In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district where in the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense.
- Seventh Amendment – Civil trial by jury. In suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.
- Eighth Amendment – Prohibition of excessive bail and cruel and unusual punishment. Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.
- Ninth Amendment – Protection of rights not specifically enumerated in the Bill of Rights. The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.
- Tenth Amendment – Powers of states and people. The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.

Wow! This is the most concise information read to date on what Obama has in store for this nation. Remember! It's not he alone! For someone, or a group of "someones", are behind this man. They are only using him as a "word-smith" speaking words that are not his own because he is the "chosen one" the New World Order selected years ago to take the position he is about to assume. 2008 December 1 I am a student of history. Professionally. I have written 15 books in six languages, and have studied history all my life. I think there is something monumentally large afoot, and I do not believe it is just a banking crisis, or a mortgage crisis, or a credit crisis. Yes these exist, but they are merely single facets on a very large gemstone that is only now coming into a sharper focus.
Something of historic proportions is happening. I can sense it because I know how it feels, smells, what it looks like, and how people react to it. Yes, a perfect storm may be brewing, but there is something happening within our country that has been evolving for about ten - fifteen years. The pace has dramatically quickened in the past two years. We demand and then codify into law the requirement that our banks make massive loans to people we know they can never pay back? Why?
We learn just days ago that the Federal Reserve, which has little or no real oversight by anyone, has “loaned” two trillion dollars (that is $2,000,000,000,000) over the past few months, but will not tell us to whom or why or disclose the terms. That is our money, yours and mine. And that is three times the 700 billion we all argued about so strenuously just this past September. Who has this money? Why do they have it? Why are the terms unavailable to us? Who asked for it? Who authorized it? I thought this was a government of “we the people,” who loaned our powers to our elected leaders. Apparently not, they now control us.
We have spent two or more decades intentionally de-industrializing our economy. Why? We have intentionally dumb down our schools, ignored our history, and no longer teach our founding documents of why we are exceptional, and why we are worth preserving. Students by and large cannot write, think critically, read, or articulate. Parents are not revolting, teachers are not picketing, and school boards continue to back mediocrity. Why?
We have now established the precedent of protesting every close election (now violently in California over proposition 8 that is so controversial that it wants marriage to remain between one man and one woman. Did you ever think such a thing possible just a decade ago?). We have corrupted our sacred political process by allowing un-elected judges to write laws that radically change our way of life, and then mainstream Marxist groups like ACORN and others to turn our voting system into a banana republic. To what purpose?
Now our mortgage industry is collapsing, housing prices are in free fall, major industries are failing, our banking system is on the verge of collapse, social security is nearly bankrupt, as is Medicare and our entire government, our education system is worse than a joke (I teach college and know precisely what I am talking about) the list is staggering in its length, breadth, and depth. It is potentially 1929 x ten.
And we are at war with an enemy we cannot name for fear of offending people of the same religion, who cannot wait to slit the throats of your children if they have the opportunity to do so. And now we have elected a man no one knows anything about, who has never run so much as a Dairy Queen, let alone a town as big as Wasilla, Alaska. All of his associations and alliances are with real radicals in their chosen fields of employment, religion and everything we learn about him, drip by drip, is unsettling if not downright scary (Surely you have heard him speak about his idea to create and fund a mandatory civilian defense force stronger than our military for use inside our borders? No? Oh, of course the media would never play that for you over and over and then demand he answer it. Sarah Palin’s pregnant daughter and $150,000 wardrobe is more important.)
Mr. Obama’s winning platform can be boiled down to one word: change. Why? I have never been so afraid for my country and for my children as I am now. This man campaigned on bringing people together, something he has never, ever done in his professional life. In my assessment, Obama will divide us along philosophical lines, push us apart, and then try to realign the pieces into a new and different power structure. Change is indeed coming. And when it comes, you will never see the same nation again. And that is only the beginning to a world social government.
I thought I would never be able to experience what the ordinary, moral German felt in the mid-1930's. In those times, the messiah was a former smooth-talking rabble-rouser from the streets, about whom the average German knew next to nothing. What they did know was that he was associated with groups that shouted, shoved, and pushed around people with whom they disagreed; he edged his way onto the political stage through great oratory and promises. Economic times were tough, people were losing jobs, and he was a great speaker. And he smiled and waved a lot. And people, even newspapers, were afraid to speak out for fear that his “brown shirts” would bully them into submission. And then, he was duly elected to office, a full-throttled economic crisis at hand [the Great Depression]. Slowly but surely he seized the controls of government power, department-by-department, person-by-person, bureaucracy-by-bureaucracy. The kids joined a Youth Movement in his name, where they were taught what to think. How did he get the people on his side? He did it promising jobs to the jobless, money to the indigent, and goodies for the military-industrial complex. He did it by indoctrinating the children, advocating gun control, health care for all, better wages, better jobs, and promising to re-instill pride once again in the country, across Europe, and across the world.
He did it with a compliant media; did you know that? And he did this all in the name of justice and ‘CHANGE’. And the people surely got what they voted for. (Look it up if you think that I am exaggerating.) Read your history books. Many people objected in 1933 and were shouted down, called names, laughed at, and made fun of. When Winston Churchill pointed out the obvious in the late 1930's while seated in the House of Lords in England (he was not yet Prime Minister), he was booed into his seat and called a crazy troublemaker. He was right, though. Don’t forget that Germany was the most educated, cultured country in Europe. It was full of music, art, museums, hospitals, laboratories, and universities. And in less than six years, a shorter time span than just two terms of a U.S. presidency, it was rounding up its own citizens, killing others, abrogating its laws, turning children against parents, and neighbors against neighbors, all with the best of intentions of course. The road to Hell is always paved with them.
As a practical thinker, one not overly prone to emotional decisions, I have a choice: I can either believe what the objective pieces of evidence tell me (even if they make me cringe with disgust); I can believe what history is shouting to me from across the chasm of seven decades; or I can hope I am wrong by closing my eyes, having another drink, and ignoring what is transpiring around me.
Some people scoff at me, others laugh, or think I am foolish, naive, or both. Perhaps I am. But I have never been afraid to look people in the eye and tell them exactly what I believe and why I believe it. I pray I am wrong. Pray with me for the truth, because the truth will set us free.
